OUR MISSION

Mutsun Tribal Foundation’s Mission is to create a Healing Space in Nature and revive the ancient Native American traditions of healing the Body and evolving in Spirit.  We will steward ancestral lands and sacred sites to preserve and protect our land’s natural resources, native flora and fauna for the benefit of a mankind.

From Ascención Solórsano

Her wisdom was the accumulation of several generations before her.

She welcomed John Peabody Harrington, a linguist from the Smithsonian Institute, to record the final testimony before her death.
“Our belief is that the Creator made us all – therefore we are all equal. Men, women, and children were all created equally and are respected equally.
Our ancestors worked to fulfill their obligation to protect the plants and animals of the land.”

– Anthony Mondragon, Founder and Great-Grandson of Ascención Solórsano
